Our Quality Management
System (QMS) is the cornerstone of our business here at BSM-CSC-PH.
We gained ISO 9002 certification
in 1996 from Lloyd’s Register and this was replaced
by an ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management certificate in 2002.
All aspects of our seafarer
recruitment and supply operations are covered by our QMS,
if it relates to the seafarers – it’s quality
is managed.
Quality Management is our
way of life here, our staff are trained, regularly briefed
and updated in all aspects of quality management, the company
reviews the effectivity of the system at least twice per year
and internal audits are carried out at regular intervals so
that we identify areas where our system can be improved, we
don’t wait for our clients to tell us.
Work experiences and audit
findings are ploughed right back into our QMS in order to
constantly improve our service to our clients, we believe
in “working smarter, not harder”, therefore we
encourage all staff to learn from their experiences and report
areas where improvements can be made.
Customer feedback is always
welcomed, findings are not just corrected, thorough preventive
action is implemented at all levels of the operation as may
be required.
We have a dedicated Quality
Management Representative and all our internal audits are
carried our to International Register of Certificated Auditors
(IRCA) standards by trained and certificated auditors.
Our commitment to
quality is evident to both clients and seafarers, we have
an organised, systematic way of doing business and we keep
records of all activities. |
